Petition Our Holy Father
Most Holy Father,
Vatican Council II states that the faithful have the obligation and right
to make known to their pastors what their spiritual needs are (Const. on the
Church, para. 37). It has been solemnly defined by Vatican I (Denzinger 1830)
and the Council of Lyons (Denzinger 466) that we have the right to have recourse
to Your Holiness in these matters which pertain to ecclesiastical jurisdiction.
It is because of our obligation to Jesus and Mary to do our duty that we now
come to you to beg that: (1)You officially unveil to us the Secret of Fatima
as Our Lady wants all the faithful to know it;(2)That the command of silence
imposed on Sister Lucy in the time of your predecessor be lifted and that Sister
Lucy be allowed to speak to the world, freely, openly, publicly, clearly and
completely; may she be allowed to tell the whole world what the precise requests
of Our Lady of Fatima are without anyone or any group obscuring Her Message;(3) That Russia be consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the solemn
and public manner commanded by Jesus and Mary in the Message of Fatima because
it is only "by this means" that Russia will be converted and peace given to
the world.
