Our Only Hope!
Our Only Real Defense
Program
The United States, Canada and the whole "free" world has only one way to avoid
being enslaved and scourged by Communist Russia. It is only by the exact obedience
of the Pope and all the Catholic Bishops to the specific command of Jesus and
Mary given through the Message of Fatima that we shall avoid being taken over
and occupied by Soviet troops. Our only hope, our one and only opportunity given
to us by God to avoid this historic catastrophe is the prompt obedience of the
Pope and all the Catholic Bishops to this Fatima Message. They must soon, together
on the same day in a solemn and public act, consecrate specifically Russia to
the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Any defense program that does not have this Act
of Obedience included is doomed to fail. There is no other way for us to remain
free.
This is what the Message of Fatima tells us. This is what Sister Lucia herself
said clearly and unmistakably. Let us recall the William Thomas Walsh interview
of Sister Lucia.
Father Manuel Rocha's Testimony
While he was the pastor of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Ludlow, Massachusetts,
I spent some time with Father Manuel Rocha, the interpreter selected for Mr.
William Thomas Walsh, who wrote perhaps the most popular book on Fatima. Father
Rocha told me that one of the questions Mr. Walsh asked him to translate to
Sister Lucia during a three hour interview on the afternoon of July 15, 1946,
while she was still Sister Maria das Dores, a Dorothean Sister at Vilar, near
Porto, Portugal was "In your opinion, will every country, without exception,
be overcome by communism?" Her pale brown eyes staring into his, a "little dimple
on each cheek", she answered "yes". Father Rocha related to me that Mr. Walsh
wanted to be positive about the answer and therefore repeated the question adding
"and does that mean the United States of America too?" Sister Lucia answered
"yes".'

Mr. William Thomas Walsh quotes Sister Lucia
Sister Lucia made it plain that Our Lady did not ask for the consecration
of the world to Her Immaculate Heart. What She demanded specifically was the
consecration of Russia. She did not comment, of course, on the fact that Pope
Pius XII had consecrated the world, not Russia, to the Immaculate Heart in 1942.
But she said more than once, and with deliberate emphasis:
"What Our Lady wants is that the Pope and all the bishops in the world shall
consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart on one special day. If this is done,
She will convert Russia and there will be peace. If it is not done, the errors
of Russia will spread through every country in the world."
"Does this mean, in your opinion, that every country without exception, will
be overcome by Communism?"
"Yes."'

The Father Fuentes' Interview 1957
Let us also recall the words of Sister Lucia to Father Fuentes. Let us take
two passages of that interview:
"Father, the Most Holy Virgin is very sad because no one has paid any attention
to Her Message, neither the good nor the bad. The good continue on their way,
but without giving any importance to Her Message."
"Tell them Father, that many times, the Most Holy Virgin told my cousins Francisco
and Jacinta, as well as myself, that many nations will disappear from the face
of the earth. She said that Russia will be the instrument of chastisement chosen
by Heaven to punish the whole world if we do not beforehand obtain the conversion
of that poor nation."
Our Only Alternative
Faced with this message there is really only one alternative for all of us.
We must pray, work and sacrifice (including almsgiving) for this great cause
of getting Russia properly consecrated. There is no other way to obtain lasting
peace. There is no other way to save our families and our neighborhoods from
suffering the atrocities of Russian Communist occupation. Above all let us remember
that to work for this cause is very important for the salvation of souls. Our
Lady said "If people do what I tell you many souls will be saved."
Let us remember to Pray the Rosary every day. Let us recall the words of Sister
Lucia to Father Fuentes:
"Look, Father, the Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has
given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary. She has given this efficacy
to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether
temporal or above all, spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of
our families, of the families of the world, or of the religious communities,
or even of the life of peoples and nations that cannot be solved by the Rosary.
There is no problem I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot
resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary. With the Holy Rosary, we will save
ourselves. We will sanctify ourselves.
We will console Our Lord and obtain the salvation of many souls."
Do Penance
Sister Lucia also said to Father Fuentes:
"Father, we should not wait for an appeal to the world to come from Rome on
the part of the Holy Father, to do penance. Nor should we wait for the call
to penance to come from our bishops in our diocese, nor from the religious congregations.
No! Our Lord has already very often used these means and the world has not paid
attention. That is why now, it is necessary for each one of us to begin to reform
himself spiritually. Each person must not only save his own soul but also all
the souls that God has placed on our path. The devil does all in his power to
distract us and take away from us the love for prayer; we shall be saved together
or we shall be damned together."
We can do more
Let us also recall that we must help Our Lady of Fatima to save us by spreading
the Message of Fatima. Let us recall as noted above that Our Lady is sad because
even the good "do not give any importance to Her Message".
How can Our Lady still consider the people who do this to be good? That is
because the good do not know the full message and its implications. This has
happened for various reasons. One reason is because there are people who, while
claiming to be for Our Lady of Fatima, distort Our Lady's Message. Father Paul
Leonard has lucidly written about this tactic of deception performed by certain
persons. (See "The Vatican-Moscow Agreement Has Silenced Our Lady" and
"The Blue Army Leadership Has Followed A Deliberate Policy Of Falsifying The Fatima Message" of this book.) So we must work hard to let
the real Fatima Message be known. We must sacrifice our time by spreading the
message to others. We must sacrifice our money by generously contributing to The Fatima Crusader and Heaven's Peace Plan radio program. It costs literally
hundreds of thousands of dollars to combat the well-orchestrated campaign of
silence and distortion that the enemies of the Fatima Message have been conducting
for years with billions of dollars at their disposal.
What Else We Can Do
Why do not the Pope and the bishops obey? Various people ask us this. We have

To be brief, it is because of the Vatican-Moscow Agreement, (and similar policies
of the Vatican Secretary of State). While this agreement was entered into by
certain Vatican officials in good faith, it nevertheless had the effect of betraying
the Church into the hands of Moscow strategists who seek to bury the Church.
Pope John Paul II realizes now the treachery of the enemy, and he has started
to pull the Church back from this extremely ill-advised treaty of the Secretary
of State and his colleagues. The problem is that the communists have had over
20 years of unchallenged advantage under this agreement, thus highly placed
sympathizers today in the Church make it very difficult for Pope John Paul II
to pull out of it completely. Because many Catholics, notably in Poland, are
still under the heel of Russian Communism, the Pope feels he must still negotiate
with Communist Russia.
Within the Church, Cardinal Casaroli, the second most powerful man in the Church,
is positively in favor of the Vatican-Moscow Agreement policy. He is one of
its architects. Cardinal Casaroli is very influential in the selection of new
bishops and has been for years. He is the direct employer of all the Vatican
officials, including the priests; even the Pope's own personal secretary. He
directly appoints the very powerful Apostolic Nuncios and Apostolic Delegates
around the world.
As a result, the Pope and Our Lady of Fatima and the faithful are having an
almost impossible time in promoting the full Fatima Message as long as these
factors are not made public. Your co-operation is needed. You must inform yourself
and then inform others.
Remember, as we have demonstrated before (see for example issue No. 18, pages
12, 14)* the Vatican-Moscow Agreement policy must be repudiated by the Pope
and all the Catholic Bishops in order for them to obey Our Lady of Fatima. The
Pope wants to obey but he feels he needs more support from the people. He needs
more prayers. He needs you to realize that he cannot do it by himself. That
is why we urge you to study and pass on The Fatima Crusader so that the ground
swell support that the Pope needs will be forthcoming. That is why you must
tell your friends to listen to Heaven's Peace Plan radio program. Much depends
on you. The choice is yours.

The alternative is too horrible to contemplate. Shall we by our inaction,
prejudice and selfishness not lift a hand to help the Pope and Our Lady of Fatima?
Shall we invite the Afghanistan experience into our neighborhood? Do you want
you and your neighbors to be like the Afghans who are tied up hand and foot
by Soviet troops, piled one on top of another like logs of wood in a huge pile
then having gasoline thrown on you and set on fire and burnt alive?! The choice
is yours. We have no other alternative. You must help The Fatima Crusader and
Heaven's Peace Plan publicize and explain Our Lady of Fatima's full Message.
